One of our members posted this promo (he shot and edited) for a performance at the Queens Theatre in the Park and it looks A-MAZING. The original score, cast, and set design look destined for Broadway and while tickets are still available, once word gets out about this, they may be hard to come by.

From their website:

In the tradition of Rent and Spring Awakening comes an exciting Broadway-bound musical by Indie rock sensation--and Queens native--Lourds Lane that tells the story of one young woman’s journey to find strength from within. With a cast that includes two “So You Think You Can Dance” finalists, an award-winning creative team (Beowulf Borritt, David Gallo, Chris March of “Project Runway”) and a dazzling original score, the touching story, multimedia wizardry and electrifying music will captivate the eye, the ear, and the heart.
