WLA Kicks Off Our Summer Concert Series on Thursday

There is a fantastic indoor space that The Pie Boys will be rocking tonight in the event of a wash-out. If you haven't been Studio Square is one of the most amazing spaces in NYC that features 3 bars and 4 floors with over 35,000 sq ft.

Why Leave Astoria?! has teamed up with the hottest new bar in NYC, Studio Square, for a summer of free rock and roll every Thursday after work.

And of course, in traditional WLA-fashion, these aren't your run-of-the-mill local bands. These are some of the best new rock bands from all over NYC and beyond. Fittingly, we kick off the summer concert series with the the most popular and difficult to book Astoria-based band, Pie Boys Flat. They haven't played a local show in ages and are itching to finally have an opportunity to play in their own backyard.

Their sound is reminiscent of Sublime, Bob Marley, and O.A.R.--a perfect combination for an outdoor space like Studio Square. Give them a listen on their Myspace page.
