Another beautiful weekend ahead of us in Astoria, so lets use it! This week, we're giving away another
WLA Perks card and for today only, offering up a 2-for-1 special.

Skip the Line After work today, stop by any of the three MoMA locations and pick up your tickets for tomorrow's WarmUp at P.S.1. Save yourself the misery of the mile-long line by purchasing them in advance.
Baseball Under the Stars
Instead of the same old Friday song/dance, consider hopping on the 7 train to Flushing for an evening game the Mets might just win. There hasn't been a better night to check out the new Citi Field in Flushing as the Cincinnati Reds come to town for a 3-game weekend series. Tickets are available at the stadium for as little as $23, or roll the dice and snag some gems on craigslist.

Yoga in the Park
If you happen to rise to the sound of chirping birds (or 30th Avenue's trademark frappe yappers), take a stroll down Broadway to Socrates Sculpture Park for a free yoga class. On your way, drop in Brooklyn Bagel for the best bagel you've ever had. If you're not within walking distance of the park, hop on the bus--they go straight down the avenues and will let you off at the park. Or better yet, consider finally buying a bike (you just might need it tomorrow...) Be the first to reply to this email with Paul the Bike Guy's phone number and win a free Perks card.
Cool Off, then WarmUp
After freshening up and some late morning R&R, grab your P.S.1 tickets that you intelligently purchased on Friday and head over to Sage American Kitchen on Jackson Boulevard in LIC for a contemporary twist on a rustic brunch. Afterwards, waddle across the Avenue to P.S.1 for this week's WarmUp featuring Arthur's Landing and DJ Danny Wang.
Comedy Night at The Creek
Before heading back to the far north, stop by The Creek for a night of free comedy and improv. Saturday's packed with four different comedy shows featuring over twenty of NYC's best comics..no cover charge, no drink minimum.

2nd Annual Tour de Queens
It's not too late to join in the Tour de Queens bike ride through eastern Queens. This 23-mile leisurely ride is your best and safest opportunity to see the sites of NYC's largest borough. Afterwards, stop by Wunderbar in Astoria, for the afterparty and some post-ride specials.
Those were the Days
Break out the short-shorts and tube socks as Astoria Kickball makes its triumphant return this weekend. Stop by the park for a semi-organized, non-competitive game of our favorite gradeschool pastime followed by burgers and beers at HGS.
Drum-Dance-Roof-Burger Beer
Wonderland is hosting their third edition of the afternoon rooftop party. Stop by the loft Sunday afternoon to dispose of any and all remaining brain cells you may have leftover from the weekend.
