I am more than behind on Christmas shopping. Like... eh, I haven't started. Between grad school and a full time job, this is just going to be one of those holidays. You know the ones I'm talking about, where on Christmas Eve I'll be frantically running around getting gifts from whatever stores are open.
So, instead of working on my thesis, I thought, "Why not do a little online shopping...?" I was clicking through Google pages looking for a leather wallet, when BAM I saw it: a handmade leather wallet that is actually named the "Astoria 3-Pocket." Turns out, the maker used to live in Astoria and most of his wallets are named after other places he's inhabited.
Anyways, to make a long story short - check it: http://www.waskerd.com/welcome.html
I thought these were nifty little gifts from a one-time Astorian, who was also clever enough to know we like our Metro Cards in an easily accessable front pocket.
Good luck with your gifts, my friends! I'm going back to the thesis...
