Real conversation I had in Manhattan last week... This guy came in to do shredding for my company.  Keep in mind that this is a guy who drives a truck around the city all day, so you'd think it would behoove him to know the lay of the land...

Shredding Guy:  "So you live in the city, or you drive in from Jersey?"

Me:  "Actually, I live in Astoria."

Shredding Guy:  "Oh, where is that, upstate?"

Me:  "No, it's, uh... right across the river, actually.  East."

Service Guy:  "Ah, ok, I think I know where that is..."
