Astoria Blizzard Filmmaker Gets Roger Ebert's Attention

Astoria indie filmmaker, Jamie Stuart took to the streets last week to document the snowy madness ensuing in the streets of Astoria, NY. He came away with an homage to Dziga Vertov's Man with a Movie Camera--which he has called Idiot with a Tripod.

 

Interesting sidenote, upon viewing this short film, movie critic Roger Ebert published the piece in his Journal and proclaimed that this film should get the Academy Award vote for best live-action short subject.
