The popular Vermont ski resort, Sugarbush, is attempting to open a free, temporary ski slope in Astoria Park this winter. Community Board 1 approved the plan this week, but the group must still navigate the City red tape for it to become a reality.
According to DNAinfo.com, the proposed artificial slope will follow the natural incline of the park, be open all week, and feature lessons for children on Saturdays and Sundays.
