A Sickening Letter from Today's Shooter

A member of this site uncovered the shooter's personal blog where we were able to find more details on the possible motive of today's shooting. His name is Guerino Annarumm, 52, (pictured below) and is the husband of victim, Olga Annaurma, 57. The other victim, her daughter, Valeria Lowery, 25, is also pictured below.

After reading the first few lines, it goes without saying Guerino actions today resulted from a broken heart. He believed his ex-wife who emigrated from Russia married him solely to attain her Green Card. Based on his account, when Olga's daughter, Valeria came to live with them, they began experiencing some serious problems--which led to their eventual divorce.

I wouldn't recommend that you read them, but his angry online ramblings stopped August. Here's a clip of his most recent post:

This is for you Olga. It's Guerino, you remember these pictures, thats all your friends who did the same thing like you for the green card. I always loved you from the first day I met you in 2001 until 2009, then you got me arrested for nothing, runined my reputation and broke my heart. God will make you pay.

This has been a tragic day in Astoria. Our heavy hearts go out to the family of the victims. Wishing them a full and quick recovery.

Here are some details of the capture from The Daily News:

Cops busted Annarumma on 12th St. about a mile from the shooting, sources said. No gun was recovered. A witness said the short, balding suspect was “calm as a cucumber” as police took him away. “He looked deranged. He looked like he was on some other planet. He didn't say anything,” the witness said. The latest in a series of orders of protection that Olga Annarumma had taken out against her husband had expired in March.

A situation like this is always a great opportunity for media outlets to profit.  "Make sure to tune/log in and hear all the sick details as we pretend to care...and sell advertising."

Although I understand that news is news, I feel really uncomfortable looking at photos of the victims.  While one might argue that the gunman chose to let his anonymity go when his actions led to police intervention, publishing names and photos of the victims just feels like we're further taking from them.

Ugh... so incredibly devastating. I cannot even fathom what they are all going through. His journal entries are the ramblings of a heartbroken lunatic. This is so sad on so many levels. My heart goes out to this entire family. God bless them all.

Today's shooting is very tragic, but how do you know this is the same person? Were names of the shooting victims released? Although this Guerino should probably be watched carefully, I am just curious how you know it is the same person.
