7-Year-Old-Girl's Feet Grabbed, Sniffed in Astoria Library

Are you F$%&ING kidding me?! Another assault on a young girl took place earlier this month in Astoria. For some reason, this is just coming to light after the August 9th assault.

 

A 7-year-old reported that as she was reading, a man approached her, then began fondling her bare foot, sniffing it, and rubbing it into his beard at an Astoria library. This is getting ridiculous. What is with the sudden influx of assholes, perverts, and pedophiles?

“Sniffed them, rubbed them against his beard, and kissed them. Did it to each foot. And then he did the same and just sniffed my flip flops,” she said.

Normally, I am all for blaming parents when things go bad, but we don't know the situation, the parent could have been at a row of books right by the child with their back turned. I'm not jumping to blame parents(yet), librarians or adults, I just blame the creep who did it.

I can't blame the librarians on this one they can't be everywhere.  I'm sure this creep picked his spot and made sure no adult was around. Hate to say it but it's on the kid's parent. If I had a 7yr old kid I'd always keep an eye on him/her in public places.

Councilman Peter Vallone has secured funding to have cameras installed in the library. Now he needs to clean up 31st street!

Absolutely ridiculous that this happened and I hope the little girl is okay!! But, I have to ask, where were her parents or guardian????? A 7 year old should not be left alone in any public place, ever!!!
