Following on a rocky start of nearly being cut from the show due to an insider leak, Big Mike again faced elimination at the hands of the fans just four weeks ago.
People Magazine has just reported that the groundbreaking Latin crossover series, Ugly Betty, has been canceled by ABC in the midst of it's fourth season. Much of their third and fourth seasons have been taped right here in Astoria--often closing streets and eateries for filming. The cancellation is due to increasingly low ratings during this season's first eight episodes.
