2-for-1 Admission to the MOMI

We just heard about a promotion at the Museum of the Moving Image through a partnership with NYC's official marketing and tourism agency, NYCGo.com. The discount will give the holder 2-for-1 admission anytime to the museum during the month of February.

 

Unfortunately, they're not distributing any of the coupons in Queens, instead opting for other Manhattan…

Astoria's Diversity Gets a Shout Out in NatGeo

It's no surprise to anyone that Astoria is a rainbow of multicultural DNA. Last summer, National Geographic and IBM’s Genographic Project were taking cheek swab and blood samples at the 30th Avenue street fair. They've since published a story in an upcoming edition and also produced a documentary that will be screened this Monday in Astoria Park.
