I hope I'm not making a mistake by starting a slew of comments all saying the same thing, but I just wanted to wish shana tovah to the members of Astoria Minyan. It's been a pleasure meeting so many of you in the last year and being a part of this emerging community in our neighborhood.

re: Astoria Center of Israel (ACI) High Holiday Schedule - A couple of corrections to my previous post:

1 - The non-member ticket price is $250 not $275 - Again - I stress that if price is an issue please get in contact and we could work something out !!!

2 - for S'lichot on Saturday Night, September 4 - There will be a dessert collation at 7:30 PM, BEFORE (not after services) which begin at 9PM

The tickets are not needed for S'Lichot - Please come and be our guest to see our beautiful and historic Synagogue for this delicious dessert next Saturday evening and then join us and listen to our inspiring clergy and choir as we begin the High Holiday season and raise your spirit with us !!!

Hi All
Please consider joining us at Astoria Center of Israel (ACI), (he only Egalitarian Conservative Synagogue in the Astoria, Long Island City, Sunnyside and Woodside areas), for our inspiring and meaningful services that are musical, creative and engaging, enlightening and relevant. The services are infused with tradition and flavored with contemporary expression !!! As usual, we will have our full staff including our inspiring Choir which adds so much to the beauty of our services.

Here is the High Holiday Schedule for the ACI. Tickets for non-members are $275 but please be reminded that we have NEVER TURNED ANYONE AWAY because of money issues. If you would like to join us and cannot pay the full price, just call the office at 718-278-2680 or email the Rabbi through the website (www.astoriacenter.org) and we can work it out:

S'lichot Services will be held On Saturday Evening, September 4 at 9:00PM with a collation following the service
