@Jillian if your going to be in Madrid you must check out Puerta de Sol. Its a huge shopping area kinda like TimesSquare and has cute little restaurants and souvenir shops. Careful of people sneaking up behind you trying to get to your purse or pocket. Oh and if your in Spain you must try paella rice ( sea food yellow rice).

@Sarah Chalek, Norway, Sweden and Finland will all offer the midnight sun. It's an absolut stunning experience. Best places I would say is Nordkap in Norway or Kiruna in Sweden. Best time for this is betw. June 12 and July 01 and then of course if you go even further up north the time period is extended.

I'm trying to go to Northern Norway next summer on a midnight sun whale watch. The sun touches the horizon and bounces back up at midnight. 24 hours of daylight, ocean sunsets/sunrises, whales, reindeer, and the fjords, which I think are cliffs that rise out of the ocean. I haven't booked anything yet. I'm hoping my friend in Switzerland can meet me there, but it would be nice to have a travel buddy from the U.S.!

that Vice Guide is pretty sick, but you shouldn't watch it before you go to Liberia..
