do you need a permit to play and a solid time in Astoria?

so how's it going. are a lot of people playing? are the courts less busy with absolutely uncalled for outrageous cost of a season pass?

I'm thinking about getting a pass, but it's looking to be a serious commitment due to cost. I'm a long-time beginner probably in the 2 range. Looking to see if anyone in that level is looking for a hitting partner.

Hey Sophia, I'm up for this. Would one weekday morning work as a regular game? I am nursing a tennis elbow so I have to take it easy, but this Sunday afternoon I am also up for it. I'm intermediate/3.0. Ping me if you are interested. Oh--I have an extra racket or two.

I'm willing to try to play permit-less. I don't care what level you are. I'd prefer beginner-intermediate. I have an extra racket.

Hello! I'm up for playing tennis in astoria park. My timetable is flexible. I'm intermediate level. Only problem is I left my racket in Greece (which I'll get when I go back in the summer) but for now, if anyone has a spare racket that would be awesome! :-)

Hi Jordan, I'd love to set up a regular morning weekday game. I am a 3.0, so you may get bored with me though. A perfect setup for me would be every Thursday as early as possible (8 or 9 AM) with Friday as rain date. Let me know if this interests you.

Hey everyone. I work nights so I'm always looking for something to do during the day. I'd love to play tennis with someone during the week anytime from like 9a-5p. I played a lot growing up, high school varsity and college club team, but I don't play that much anymore and would like to get back into it. Shoot me a message if you'd like to play.

also, my schedule is as follows. i am on vacation till may 15th. after that, i am generally very flexibile with availability on weekdays between 10am and 5pm and can go on a moment's notice. if you want to hit on weekday evenings or on weekends, i can do that too although i'll have to schedule a couple of days in advance to give my family some notice. also, i used to be a strong 5.5 or a weak 6.0 but am now out of shape and out of practice for 10+ years. i am most likely a 4.5 nowadays and can play with good consistency. i have a tennis permit, balls, and a car.
