Josette and anybody else who would like a running partner or group in the evening, just message me. I might not always be available, but if you send me advanced notice/info on where/when to meet, then I'll let you know. I run just for staying healthy and having fun. I can hang with any of the beginner - intermediate runners here. My pacing will probably be a little too slow for advanced runners.

This board is far too disjointed. To eliminate the confusion, let's divide the group into beginners and advanced. Who would be interested in joining an advanced club (longer distances, faster pacing, etc.)? We can establish times and all that but I'd like to take a roll call first.

I just started my running regimen again, I run Saturday mornings around 9:30 - 10 am. I run at the park, looking for partners. I am also going to start Tuesday mornings at 7 am for 30 minutes.

I'm still interested in running, but like Nryn, I am usually available for evening runs. I leave for work by 6:30am and not usually up early enough to squeeze in a run. I'm home by 4:30-5:00pm. Anyone in a similar situation that wants to form an evening group w/ me and/or Nryn, just let us know.

It's about 3 miles to Roosevelt Island...not far at all. We can adjust our distance as need be when we get there. It's a simple route too - take any combination of roads to get to 36th ave and then run due west. So, who's in?

An early run sounds good. It's a bit unorthodox but we could run to and around Roosevelt Island. It's close by, scenic and breezy. Thoughts?

I think it would be more fun if we could map out a running route outside of Astoria Park. Anyone know of any good ones in Queens?
