Hi Chris,

Unfortunately I did not create a ride to the PS1 party for this Saturday since I will not be able to attend but by all means, you can create one within the group and head on over. Astoria and L.I.C. residents are FREE! We actually have our own line as well so we don't have to wait in the line that wraps around the block (last Saturday the line went almost two full blocks to get in). All you need is valid ID that you live in the area and it shows that you are the person on the ID. For instance, I have used my Time Warner bill in the past. Hope that helps.

Will there be another ride to PS1 this weekend? Are Astoria residents really free? Their website says otherwise and in the past I was told you needed an ID with Astoria address.

An after work de-stress ride will be happening tomorrow between 6:45-7pm in the normal meet up spot on 19th street and 24th avenue. If you are interested and can make it, come on over!

The Tour de Queens registration is now open.  It costs 10 dollars and it is a leisurely 18 mile police escorted ride through the neighborhoods of queens.  The ride starts at 9am on Sunday July 10th.  The link is attached below.  I signed up today and it should be a lot of fun.  Lets represent our Astoria Bike Group!

We wanted to let you know that we're running a sale on our "lightly used" bikes in LIC right now. (These are bikes that have been part of our rental fleet; we otherwise sell only new bicycles) If you have friends you've been trying to convince to ride with you, this is a great chance for them to get a bike. Hey Everyone,

Though this Holiday weekend most people will be hitting the beach, traveling to the Hamptons, or heading out of town to a BBQ, they forgot where one of the best party spots will be which is Saturday afternoon. PS.1 is hosting the first of many summer party series and this Saturday from 2pm-9pm will be the official Warm Up Party.

So let's get a head count to see who will be around and we'll meet at the normal spot in the park. 19th Street and 24th avenue at 1:30pm. We'll have a quick leisurely ride over to PS.1 where you will be able to enjoy some art, music, and have fun.
