Hey Everyone,

Though this Holiday weekend most people will be hitting the beach, traveling to the Hamptons, or heading out of town to a BBQ, they forgot where one of the best party spots will be which is Saturday afternoon. PS.1 is hosting the first of many summer party series and this Saturday from 2pm-9pm will be the official Warm Up Party.

So let's get a head count to see who will be around and we'll meet at the normal spot in the park. 19th Street and 24th avenue at 1:30pm. We'll have a quick leisurely ride over to PS.1 where you will be able to enjoy some art, music, and have fun.

See you there!

Here is the link and info and an event page will be hitting WLA shortly.

Our Astoria Bike Group set out this morning at 9am and headed towards Flushing Meadow Park.  We traveled up 20th avenue making our way towards Ditmars Blvd and then over the cross bridge riding along the scenic water trail next to the bay.  It was a beautiful morning for a ride.  We road along the bay up to Citi Field and then made our way into Flushing Meadow Park where we did a quick loop around the pond and headed back for some delicious Italian Ices at The Lemon King of Corona on 108th street and 52nd avenue.  After devouring our ices, we headed back towards Ditmars and ended our awesome three hour leisurely ride with smiles on our faces.  Check out the link below for some of the pictures from this mornings ride.

That sounds like fun. I think I'll join. I've done the ride to Brooklyn and Randals Island a few times. I'd be up for flushing meadows park or Randals.

Hi, I'm so sorry but I have to cancel. I have a friend that really needs my help with an emergency move tomorrow. I hope to ride with some of you very soon.
