I have a group of friends, and we are going to start a softball team. Our problem is finding the right league to join. Is there anything in Astoria or Queens in general for a co-ed young professionals league?

Thanks!!

yep. Elmjack has a women's softball league

Is Elmjack competitive or fun?  Is it open for anyone to join?

Hey, do you have a link for Elmjack? I'm looking for a competitive women's league

Can recommend a league called MASL. It's not very competitive, more social-oriented.  They typically mix up the teams every week but you can request to play in the same game as your friends.  Games are Saturday at noon or 2 in Central Park.  You can read more about it here:

MASL looks interesting! I don't know how I feel about teams being split up though...

Takes a little getting used to but you'll know almost everyone in the league after a few games.

Great way to meet new people! I'll keep this league in mind...

Here's a recommendation from one of our fans on Facebook:

Jenna Marie The YMCA has a co Ed league... We play at jHs school yard on crescent and 37th ave.. They are looking for more teams. The league starts in April

how can we get more information about this?

Yes, I tried calling the LIC YMCA, and left a message. Is that the one that was meant?

ZogSports has a league that plays on Randall's Island, which is easy to get to from Astoria if you have a car or bike.
