Why Leave Astoria?!

Rumor has it that a cleaning crew came into an apartment to clear out after someone died and found grenades and possible radioactive material.

Cleaning crew at hospital being tested. Cops circling in choppers and other vehicles as explosives get checked out.

anyone else know anything?

Stay tuned, more details are coming in...

I know the guy's name ( perhaps) but did not want to post it.

I heard that it was an older gentleman that passed away and they found ww2 munitions
Of course, we hate rumors as much as you do...buuuut a friend of a friend has passed on the info that the apartment the police are investigating belongs to a man named Harry Melnick.
Isn't that the same last name of the guy who runs the Historical Society?

If you're thinking Rich Melnik, then no it's not him. He is part of Greater Astoria Historical Society (as is Bob Singleton). I'd stake money on neither of them having explosive materials in their homes. Plus, neither of them are dead.

I just wondered if it was a relation
Dunno. I know Bob Singleton at the Historical Society, but no Melnicks
Awesome. I live three blocks from there.
One block away. Is it safe to go home?
i think so
