OUR POST:

We have room in our apartment that is available for someone to move into on August 1st.

Rent for the room is $800 a month and there is a deposit of $800 required by our landlord.

The room....
It has two large windows and gets lots of sunlight. The is 13'5" x 9'5" and has a large walk-in closet. The closet is 5'.5" x 4" and 9' high. So there is a lot of space for your things.

The apartment....
The apartment has four bedrooms. We use the forth bedroom as storage room. It comes in real handy... That way our closets don't have to filled up and we don't have to stuff things under our beds! Its nice having the extra space. We also put our vacuum cleaner,ironing board, mop, luggage, etc. in there! Basically things we don't use on daily basis. We like to keep it organized so people call utilize it.

We also have kitchen, a living room, and dining room. The apartment is great for entertaining guests. It used to be a dentist office believe it or not. We kept the sliding window that was in the lobby which is now the living room! Great to pass food or drink through if friends come over!

We also have a bathroom.... and the great thing is the shower gets fantastic water pressure. Oh, and there is never a line to use the bathroom in the mornings! Our schedules vary greatly.

Our landlord provides heat and water. We split the electricity/high speed wireless internet/cable.

The type of person we are looking for...
We would like to find someone that is friendly. The roommate who previously had the room was great. We actually have invited him out on several occasions. Granted we are not looking for a best friend and they don't have to do things with us. But it is nice to be able to say hello to the person and have conversations.

The person should be clean. We like to keep the apartment neat. We are not neat freaks or anything... we just like to have it nice in case someone stops by.

Us...
We are friendly out-going and very laid-back. We don't fuss and we clean up after ourselves. We have invited previous roommates to movie screenings and to Fashion Week. We also had a Halloween Party last year... BYOP Bring Your Own Pumpkin. We play boardgames occasionally and sometimes watch movies in the living room together.
