Good morning,

I would first like to thank you guys for signing our petition therefore helping our efforts to bring an Express bus from Astoria to Midtown and Downtown Manhattan. Even if you did not sign our petiton I would like you to take the time to complete our survey in order to help see where potential usage of an Express Bus from Astoria would be

The link below is to part one of our survey which is ten questions long

I thank you in advance for completing both parts of our survey which will help us and the MTA to determine the demand for an Express Bus and how it should be scheduled

Good morning,

We have reorganized the survey in order to specfically question those going to either downtown or midtown and not mix and match the two, which is the mistake the person making this survey made. Sorry to those who took our survey already, but we would like you to complete this survey in order to help schedule trips and help plan the Express Bus service.

If you would use an Express Bus Downtown, please complete the survey at the following link

If you would use an Express Bus to Midtown, please complete the survey at the following link

I filled out the survey as best I could, but wasn't sure what you meant by Express. Also, it wasn't clear where it would pick up in Queens or how many stops on the Q side there would be. I sometimes now take the Q101 and that works pretty well for me.

Also, I accidentally took both surveys, so sorry about that.

The Express Bus would operate along Ditmars Boulevard and 21st Street and in Midtown operate to either 3rd or 6th Avenue. The Q101 makes only one stop in Manhattan which is far from most transfers
I have been taking the Q101 for about 18 years and yes it does make one stop into Manhattan but it really isn't far from many transfers. You can transfer either on 1st ave, 2nd Ave or 3rd ave..or even go walk to 57th St to transfer to East and West. I now take the M60 because of an office relocation but it is good to know I have different options to get to the city. Sometimes taking the M60, although 10 mins to my new job is a pain with passengers with luggages.
they relocated the Q101 stop which is out of the way as 61st Street is in the Upper East Side and one would have to walk five street blocks to 57th Street and the only useful transfer is to the M15 on 1st and 2nd Avenues as third avenue is one and a half Manhattan avenue block from the Q101

If you want to complete our Downtown Express Bus survey please use the following link as I will not see any further responses from the survey that is linked above since there is a 100 response limit by Surveymonkey. If you want to complete our Downtown Express Bus please use this link instead of the other link
