i know 2 places that aren't super close to your mentioned location, but they're both good and cheap (under $3):

Mikie's Deli - 21st St and Ditmars
Euromart - 31st St and 30th Ave

I Like Igloo on 31st Street. That's where I always get mine. 2226 31st Street  Long Island City, NY 11105-2714

Oh I didn't realize Igloo was that kind of place. Actually, I have no idea what kind of place Igloo is especially with a name like that. I'll check it out though, thanks for the tip.

Ooh, I also used to stop at the deli on the corner of Hoyt Ave S/Astoria Blvd and 31st St and they're very good, but also not super close.

Yeah that place has exactly what I'm looking for, just up by Ditmars. Super cheap too, like $2.

Mikies Deli   21st and Ditmars....homeless people can afford his breakfast prices...he's THAT cheap.

It's not exactly bodega style... but brooklyn bagel is darn good... get it on a toasted english muffin bagel!

Zorba's on 23rd Ave., Mike's Diner, and on 19th Street and Ditmars, the Park  Deli has exactly what you are talking about. They also make a killer cutlet sub.
