There is a place on Broadway between 34th street & 35th street (same side as the Duncan Donuts) middle of the block that takes walk-ins and it's not expensive. I tried them once when I needed a quick straight blow out don't remember the name because i just walked in. If you want a good hair-cut or color etc... I recommend She Goes To Your Head on Stenway street between 30th ave and 28th ave (closer to 28th Ave). I have been going there for years and love the place and the people.
