Astoria B&B/Hotels?

Hi there,

I'm new to the neighborhood and to WLA, but I'm hoping this might be a good forum!

My parents are coming to visit in a few months, and are wanting to stay in a B&B (or hotel) walking distance to me at the Broadway stop. I had found an awesome network of B&Bs in Brooklyn, and thought maybe there might be something similar here in Astoria? Anyone know of anything? Or can you recommend a decent place to put some parents for the weekend? I'm afraid my couch doesn't quite cut it for them. :)

I too have this same problem. I've been putting them up at the Fairfield on Astoria Blvd/45th but not really an ideal location for me or them.

Welcome to the hood Shannon! If anyone recommends the one by LIC HS I strongly urge you not to send your parents there...They specialize in "DAY RATES" nuff said ...

I agree!!! "night rates" too...will all the acoustics, if you know what I mean!! We had to stay there in Oct 2011 and never again!!!! Had no choice but cant really recommend it!
