WLA Presents: Shinobi Ninja w/ special guests, 13--CANCELLED

I've just been informed that Studio Square has decided to cancel tonight's show in lieu of a political fundraiser. They have no plans to reschedule.


This Thursday, WLA will be hosting two of NYC's fastest rising bands, Shinobi Ninja and LL's Cool J's new project, 13.

If you like 311 and The Beastie Boys, you'll love Shinobi Ninja--a six-piece out of Brooklyn that gets any party started. Fresh off their last show at Blender Theatre with Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, Shinobi Ninja is going to turn Studio Square inside out.

13's story is straight out of movie. One of the band members, holding a part time job in a Queens diner had the good fortune of serving LL Cool J one late night. Exactly one year after giving him their demo, 13 got a call from LL himself asking them to join him on his new label. Now on the fast track to fame, 13 are recording their debut album with LL, Quincy Jones, and Wyclef Jean.

This is a show no one should miss!
