Event Description

On 4/10/09, WLA turns 1 year old! Can you believe it? Also, we're fast approaching 1,000 members.

I'll make a deal with you...if we can get 1,000 members by 4/10/09, I'll host a free beer bash for all members. Please use the invite link to spread the word!

DETAILS:
On Friday, April 24th, Why Leave Astoria?! and Rizzo's Pizza will be hosting a free party for the neighborhood. Join us as Rizzo's celebrates their 50th birthday party and whyleaveastoria.com's 1st. Party starts at 7p and "ends" at 11p. There will be 3 kegs of beer and several pizzas. Kegs will be tapped on the hour so as to ensure we don't go through it all at once. Come early before the free stuff's gone and stay late!

We have some of Astoria's best bands performing including: Matthew Snow, Bayard Russell, Anthony Lanni, TJ Moss Band, and DJ LoFi.

I have a suggestion: the 5 top place lists should be posted on WLA. All I can think about now is the banana pudding and I don't remember the name of the place!!! Help!
